Bye Sam :( If only the forces of demanding actors and directors had worked out better!

I always have so much to say whilst I am reading these recaps but then by the time I get to the bottom I've forgotten it all. I should start taking notes.

Anyway, the main thing I remembered today - you mentioned the comparison between Will treating people well on the Horton Wilde campaign compared to in this episode. In my mind, although he did treat the interns apallingly badly, I allow him a little slack because the position he was in must be enormously stressful. Not his fault that all the staff quit - on a side note, one of my least favourite events - do people really quit their White House jobs en masse simply because they do not like their new boss? It seems hopelessly unrealistic!

I so wish Rob Lowe stayed on the show. I still love the show after he left but it definitely lost something.

The White House speechwriting staff quitting en masse was so contrived and unrealistic! I cut Will a *little* slack too but the show cuts him a *ton* more slack than he deserves so I get a little cranky on my meta with him in this storyline.
