Totally agree re: Abbey's public bitchiness with Amy and the inappropriateness of the "skanky ex-girlfriends line". This really is not a great episode for her.

Although I do like her hard-nosed approach to the $12 million. She wasn't personally entitled to the money but she clearly was lead to believe that the First Lady's office successfully lobbied for that immunization education money for the CDC and she found out on the final yardline that Josh outplayed Max and that's why the CDC isn't getting their promised money. It seems like a reasonable time to start pulling rank and walking into Josh's office pissed even though there's clearly nicer ways of handling the situation. It's flawed, no question, but I still liked her through that scene.

Jed didn't *have* any ex-girlfriends, skanky or otherwise. He was going to be a priest before he met her, fercrisakes.

I had no problems with Amy up until Commencement, when she sandbagged Donna with the "are you in love with Josh" BS.
